At March 23 extraordinary sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Armen Ashotyan considered in the second reading the draft law on International Treaties with the enclosed package authored by the government.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan informed the Committee members that the RA NA RPA, Yelq/Way Out and the ARF Factions presented their recommendations during the period from the first to the second reading. As a result of recommendations, the legislative package has been revised, and it is ready to be presented for debate in the second reading.

The legislative initiative of the government was endorsed to be included in the draft agenda of the extraordinary sitting to be convened on March 23.
